Thanksgiving is a time to count our blessings, enjoy the company of family and friends, and, perhaps most importantly, watch football.  This month’s charmer is a vintage Bakelite charm bracelet circa 1940.  The bracelet boasts five charms, including a boot, old-fashioned helmet, megaphone, football, and pennant.  The bracelet is made of celluloid and still has its original clasp.   Finding a Bakelite bracelet in excellent condition is a bit like winning the Super Bowl — but even more exciting.
